Gameplay Sieg WarheitД¬haos Legion is considered to be a hack-&-slash type of game, but there's more to it then just pressing the same button over and over and waving a sword around. Delacroix believes that Sieg was the one who murdered Siela, and blinded by his anger Delacroix wants to make Sieg pay for his sins and to purify the world by getting rid of all sinners, in order to do this Delacroix unleashes tons of monsters that Sieg will have to face to get to Delacroix. Delacroix wants to join the Spiritual Planes to bring his lover back to life, Siela Riviere. Along the way Sieg saves a girl named Arcia that lost all of her family due to Delacroix's acts, so to avenge her dead family she decides to join Sieg in his quest. In Chaos Legion you play as Sieg Warheit, a Knight of the Dark Glyphs, who has received the mission of stopping his former friend, Victor Delacroix, from getting his hands on Three Artifacts that will enable Delacroix to join the Spiritual Planes. Due to its many resemblances to another of Capcoms' very popular game ( Devil May Cry), Chaos Legion wasn't very well received by the critics who based their reviews on comparisons to Devil May Cry. If you liked Astral Chain and would like a bit of a different approach to its style of game I highly recommend you give this one a try.Chaos Legion is an action-adventure game that was released in 2003 by Capcom. However proper management of your legion and knowing when to attack and when to defend is crucial to your success in this game. The combat is action based but definitely not as fluid as modern games(it IS a 2003 game after all). Basically you can summon 9 different types of Legions(Yes they are called that in the game) to fight alongside you. What it does do well is the Legion System. Gameplay was the main(if not the only) focus. No insane plot-twists, barely any world-building. bad and the story is not the greatest writing you will experience. No detective work or narrative gameplay for this one sadly. In terms of gameplay it is very much like DMC where you enter a room kill everything in sight and move on.

This game is a linear Beat-Em-Up with very light RPG elements and a gothic tone to the atmosphere and story.

This old-ass game is one of my personal favourite childhood memories. If you would please direct your attention to Chaos Legion. In the absence of an Astral Chain sequel I assume some of you might want a similar experience to scratch your itch. I have very recently finished the game and am now going through File 12.
